Oskari

Born
1992.
Character
Analytical, calm, and loyal.

Oskari approaches unusual observations first as measurable phenomena. He does not look for mystical explanations: if something happens, it should leave an observable trace. That is exactly why the recurring coherence and resonance anomalies begin to trouble him when their timing coincides with Aija and Sigrid’s evenings at the studio.

When the same structure begins appearing at more than one measurement point, Oskari’s scientific caution becomes personal concern for Aija. He delays the formal handling of the data to protect her from attention arriving too soon. It is not a purely scientific decision, and Oskari knows it.

Aija and Oskari’s friendship goes back many years, and it shows in the direct, unforced way they speak to each other. Oskari’s concern for Aija, however, begins to go beyond ordinary friendship, even though he does not put those feelings into words at this stage.

Oskari and Sigrid share an interest in sound, measurement, and small irregularities. The trio’s everyday life also includes ordinary moments, such as meals at Oskari’s favorite waterfront pizzeria near the harbor and the studio.
