Sigrid
- Born
- 1994.
- Character
- Calm, precise, and possessed of a distinctly individual sense of humor. Her humor can be slightly sharp at times, but it is never malicious.
Sigrid works in a studio on the upper floor of a former fish-processing building that has been converted into workspaces near the harbor. She spends long days there recording, mixing, and handling other forms of audio post-production. The work does not feel like a burden to her, but like a natural way of being in the world. Sound is both her profession and the element in which she feels most at home. If there is no mixing or other post-production work to do at the time, Sigrid is just as happy to spend it rearranging the studio, adjusting equipment placement, or fine-tuning the workspace.
Sigrid is known for her exceptional ear and precision. She can spend a very long time on a small detail if something in the sound does not feel right.
Sigrid’s style of dress has remained almost unchanged since her youth. Her childhood taught her early that clothes are not disposable goods. She wears them for a long time and chooses practicality above all else. Even her hairstyle has remained remarkably similar over the years.
Sigrid’s motto: “It’s easy to have a sense of style when you only have one style.”
Soon after arriving in Norway, Aija Lumén meets Sigrid on Oskari Lindberg’s recommendation. The two become friends quickly, and Sigrid’s studio begins to offer Aija a place where music can feel free again rather than merely like work.
With Sigrid, Aija does not have to remain inside the role of a performer. Trust grows between them through work, shared time, and silence as well. Aija does not have to explain her sensitivity, and Sigrid does not have to construct herself into anything other than what she is.
Sigrid does not talk much about her past. Not everything in her history is clear even to her.
