The opening of the Connection turns Ilyen’s academic curiosity into an immediate personal observation. Among the younger Aurelyans, she is the first to sense Aija and the new resonance that the Connection brings into the shared harmony.
For Ilyen, the observation does not remain merely a sensation. She begins comparing it with what she knows of history, the archives, and the records concerning Nyxa. She wants to understand where this new resonance comes from and what it reveals about the world that has suddenly become real to Aurelya.
Ilyen’s hunger for knowledge and her ability to connect information from different sources already begin to distinguish her among younger Aurelyans. She does not yet hold the position she will later have, but people begin to pay attention to her observations and questions.
