Saeliri.
Saeliri at the Council Circle, presenting his observations and views. The circle has no throne or other place of power. Saeliri stands in the middle only so that he can present his case equally to all members of the Council. Others listen to Saeliri because his observations and carefully reasoned views are valued.
Aurelya’s landscape changes strongly with light, time of day, and the floating forest islets, so the same place may look very different at different moments.

Saeliri is an Aurelyan who belongs to Aurelya’s listeners. Listeners observe changes in the field, resonances, vibrations, and frequencies, especially the subtle shifts that appear within the shared harmony. Saeliri is one of the best known among them.
Saeliri originally comes from the Concord of Luminara, a maritime coastal community. Through his Council duties, however, his life has become increasingly rooted in Vaelen, and later he has also served within the Archive Concord.
Saeliri is highly regarded in the Council because his observations are exceptionally precise and his views are carefully reasoned. Others listen to him because they have learned to trust his assessments.
Saeliri does not seek change for its own sake, but neither does he reject it merely because it is new. He listens for a long time before reaching a conclusion. Even so, the Council may at times act out of fear and overlook what Saeliri sees more clearly.
Physically, Saeliri stands 192 centimeters tall. His skin is pearly pale with a faint blue-green sheen, and his eyes are silver-bright. As is typical of Aurelyan men, he has no hair, though the back of his head bears a fine light-sensitive membrane.
