Ilyen is a young Aurelyan whose studies are nearing completion when the Connection opens. As a student, she has been exceptionally diligent and has almost devoured knowledge. She does not limit herself to what she is expected to learn, but continually seeks more material and new connections between different pieces of information.
Ilyen is particularly interested in Aurelyan history, archives, and culture. Even as a student, she has studied the known history of Nyxa and the surviving archive records concerning it to an unusually broad extent.
In her curiosity, Ilyen resembles Saeliri, but her way of acting is quicker and more practical. When something catches her interest, she does not merely study it; she soon begins to ask what should be done next. Even while young, she has a tendency to get other people moving as well.
